A new version of prayer that follows scriptural basis, rooted in legal dictions.
With profound respect and reverence to this Honourable God, appearing before you is Dorl Reslach, I humbly announce my appearance for myself in the name of Jesus Christ.
Your lordship, I stand before you today to argue a motion for the “granting of wisdom, knowledge and understanding” to my humble self.
It may be argued that I lack the locus standi to institute this motion but with heavy reliance on the pronouncement of your Lordship in Heb 4:16, (CEV) “So whenever we are in need, we should come bravely before the throne of our merciful God. There we will be treated with undeserved kindness, and we will find help.” I contend that I possess the locus to argue this motion before your lordship.
My Lord, it is settled law by virtue of spiritual constitutional law as contained in the Statute of Revelation, section 1, subsection 8 which states that “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. This signifies that you are the apex judge of all, the author and finisher of all things. Thus, to assert that you are the Alpha and Omega of human existence is not an overstatement. Hence, I am assured that YOU have the Jurisdiction to grant the prayers contained in this motion as set down hereinunder.
Your Lordship, this motion was instituted due to its necessary, essential, vital, indispensable, crucial, vital, critical, and requisite nature. The importance of its subject matter cannot be overemphasized, as it has been written that my people perish because they lack understanding. I refer to Hosea 4, subsection 6.
In the Genesis Convention, your Lordship created the earth and all that is in it, including my humble self, and it is part of your inviolable command that we, Homo sapiens should have dominion over all thy creations.
However, it has been observed that without the added advantage of knowledge, wisdom and understanding, this cannot be safely done.
This motion was instituted in compliance with Rule 7, Order 7 of Matthew’s Act which states that “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you”.
My Lord, this request is not a novelty, this prayer is not a pristine one. It has been requested and granted before, even from time immemorial and I am assured that by the principle of stare decisis, it will be repeated in the instant case.
In the locus classicus case of Re: King Solomon, your lordship gave him a carte blanche as reported in Chronicles Law Report (2nd Edition) 1 at 7 “That night God appeared to Solomon. God said, “What do you want from me? Ask.”
And in the judgment of your Lordship’s court as reported in The Message Law Report (2nd Chronicles Edition) 1 at 12 “Because of this, you get what you asked for–wisdom and knowledge. And I’m presenting you the rest as a bonus–money, wealth, and fame beyond anything the kings before or after you had or will have.”
Furthermore, the erudite Scholar Lord James has opined in his Epistle According to James, Chapter 1, paragraph 5 that “But if any man among you is without wisdom, let him make his request to God, who gives freely to all without an unkind word, and it will be given to him.”
Moreso, this has been applied in the celebrated case of Rex vs Daniel and 3 ors, where your lordship granted him the leave to know that which remain hidden to others. I strongly rely on the reports contained in Daniel 1:17, Daniel 5:12, Daniel 2:21.
Respectfully, I also want your lordship to take judicial notice of the fact that this case was forwarded to you through the office of your son Emmanuel C. Jesus Esq. (Most Senior Advocate of the Universe), who indisputably posited in John 14:14 that “If ye shall ask anything in my name, that will I do” and also 1 John 5:14 “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us”.
Thus, My Lord, I hereby submit that by virtue of the aforecited authorities; judicial and statutory, I, Dorl Reslach should be granted unlimited Knowledge, Wisdom and understanding in all sphere of human endeavours. I pray this Honourable God for a declaration that after King Solomon, I am the wisest of Men, and for such further orders and or declaration as this Honourable God may deem fit to make in the circumstance of this case. I rest my case.
